MOTHERS’ PRAYERS
Mothers’ prayers are a small group meeting in each other’s houses
on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.
It was first started in England by two Catholic grandmothers in 1995
and has spread rapidly throughout the world with groups now in over
100 countries.
This ministry allows us to bring all the pain and worries for our children
to Our Lord and to trust in his words:
‘Come to me all who are burdened, and I will give you rest.’
(Matthew 11 v28).
We do not offer each other advice but share in bringing our concerns
to the foot of the cross, trusting in the power of prayer.
We have experienced many blessings through our prayers together.
